Family Fun - Family is an important part of every community and God's plan. We use the pumpkin patch to encourage and support safe and fun family-friendly events that welcome everyone.
Community Growth – The pumpkins come from a farm that helps to employ people in an area of New Mexico where the unemployment rate is 42%. The pumpkin patch not only offers a family friendly environment, giving the community something to look forward to every year but it also offers the community the opportunity to participate in the growth of programs that support boosting the less fortunate through the donation of time or money.
We are a donation based pumpkin patch. We have suggested pricing posted for our pumpkins, but you're welcome to donate whatever you want for the pumpkins you take home with you. There is a drop slot on the concession stand in which to place your donations. If there is a patch attendant, you can even make your donation with credit card!
Several years ago a church member came up with the idea to start a pumpkin patch in the open field on our property. Our pumpkin patch has quickly grown and come to be one of Jacksonville's fall highlights. The pumpkin patch now serves a multipurpose event open to the community at no charge.
Missions - Some of the donations collected support the church and it's mission to share Christ's love but some of the donations also go toward the many missions that Isle of Faith helps to support right here in Jacksonville and around the world! This years missions will go to support under privileged children and adults in communities throughout Jacksonville, an orphanage in Africa and medical needs for people in the Dominican Republic.
Ministry - Pumpkins with a purpose is more than a slogan. In addition to the missions that are supported, information about the love of Christ is available to anyone that visits.
